Choosing a reverse distributor can be difficult and confusing…

However it is one of the most important decisions you can make regarding your business.

Consider these facts:

  • In the United States, more than 550 pharmaceutical manufacturers market over 140,000 products approved by the Food & Drug Administration.
  • Industry sources have estimated the total returns cost to be 3%-6% of annual pharmaceutical sales.
  • Pharmaceutical returns in United States are estimated to be $9.6 billion annually

There are regulatory issues to consider when returning or disposing of pharmaceutical products. The following organizations must be considered:

  • DEA
  • EPA
  • DOT
  • FDA
  • Local and State authorities

Step One

Decide what one factor is most important to you – we’ll call this the Key Factor.

  • Price
  • Experience
  • Reputation
  • Size
  • Reporting and technology
  • Flexibility
  • Personnel of company
  • Location of company

Step Two

Set limits to the Key Factor – For example:

  • I won’t pay over $___
  • The company must have been in business for ___ years
  • The company must have at least ___ references
  • The company must have annual sales of at least $___
  • I must be able to print reports and manage my account on-line
  • The company must be able to tailor its service to fit my individual needs
  • I must have a good rapport with employees of the company
  • I want to do business with a local company

Step Three

After eliminating certain companies based on the limits of the Key Factor go through the process again. However, this time select your next most important criteria after the Key Factor.

  • Set limits again for this factor
  • Continuing eliminating companies based these steps, repeating the process as much as needed

In the end you must feel comfortable doing business with any company. Remember, that you are entrusting not only your money, but also your company’s reputation to a reverse distributor.

Consider the following:

  • Founded in 1992, Return Solutions is one of the most experienced reversed distributors in the country.
  • We employ an outside audit firm to advise us on EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulatory issues.
  • Our employees attend continuing education seminars three times each year to remain up to date on issues concerning our industry.
  • Return Solutions has the lowest turnover rate in the industry.
  • We are licensed with the DEA, EPA, and all states which require licensing.

At Return Solutions, we maintain the flexibility to easily adapt to the changing needs of a wide array of customers. While at the same time we have the capability to provide you with whatever service you may need.

After examining all of these factors, and comparing price, we hope we’re the company you choose to do business with.
